2012 Grand World Final at Talkessel

The motocross world championship will come on 22nd and 23rd Septembre 2012 to the “Talkessel” of Teutschenthal. The official racing calendar has now been announced. The Motorsport Club Teutschenthal will stage the last round of the championship series for the first time. There is a “Grand Final” with four classes. Beside the two top series MX1 (450cc) and MX2 (250cc), we will have for the first time the MX3 class (650cc) in Teutschenthal. The Womens World Championship takes place, too.
Clerk of the Course, Andreas Kosbahn, stated: “We have made the shift in our traditional spring-summer date to Septembre in close coordination with Youthstream. First, it allows our German world champion and MSC-club member Ken Roczen, who is racing in US next Season, to race in front of this enthusiastic german audience. We are delighted that this possibility exists, of course. Second, our Grand Prix will be the ultimate test for the “Motocross of Nations” in the fall of 2013. Many innovations, especially in infrastructure will be in use next year and already in operation.”
Pre-Ticket-Sales for the 2012 world championship race will start in Teutschenthal traditionally at the end of 2011.
In addition, the MSC will organize a socond event on 3rd June 2012 with a German Sidecar Championship and the German Youth Championship.
